Hospitals produce waste gas and water that need to be safely treated so that they don’t harm the community or the environment. In a pandemic situation, this becomes an issue when a medical space has to be set up quickly. Regenerate is a modular mobile hospital that addresses this problem. Hexagonal modular units and a modular contaminant filtration system can be quickly assembled to provide the most appropriate medical space for different circumstances. The modular contaminant filtration system will be located where waste gas and water are generated. This provides greater design flexibility when stacking and combining the modules to create the space that is needed.

The process of packaging and transporting the modular units is also much simplified. Whether it is situated in a remote countryside, desert zones or disaster-hit areas, Regenerate can provide complete equipment and customisable medical service for even the most extreme of situations.

Bottled beverages are readily available due to its convenience. Although the plastic bottle can be recycled, it cannot be completely decomposed. For the other incorrectly discarded plastic bottles, they flow into the ocean and become pollution. The plastic has not only caused the biology to die, but also damaged the environment. It has already caused a significant impact on the ecology. Although the ocean seems far, it is closely related to our life. We take the MRT station in the city as a starting point, inviting all the people to participate. Giving the plastic bottle a new meaning, and become an eternal artwork. At the same time, we can reflect on the importance of marine ecology and the possibility of plastic reduction.

“Parasite”, in biology, means an organism that lives in or on another species and benefits by deriving nutrients at others expense. After being parasitizing, it creates a new lifestyle. Even though it’s still in a parasitic way but they need each other. People need space to live, space need people to add in activities. That’s how it works. People come and go as time go by. I wish 10years in the future, or even 30,60years, the pure lifestyle of Tainan can be preserved. As the area is growing more and more mature, the “Parasitic Jungle” can grow as well.

NOAH’S COMMUNITY

COVID-19 had a serious outbreak since early 2020. With a fourteen-day incubation period, it became necessary to isolate the people at risk of infection to prevent spreading. While quarantine at home, people start to wonder will the virus spread by the central air-conditioner system? Will it become far worst to cluster spreading?

So based on these questions, we come to this space designed for the ones who are impacted by all kinds of disasters to stay temporary, more forward by considering the variety of climate types, we apply floating units as the base so it could stand above the water.

COMING HOME

TRAPPING WHALE

With the development of civilization, the amount of garbage produced by humans has also increased. Most of people know this situation but are not aware of its seriousness, so I design a small recycling station that can alert people and people. It is mainly conveyed to the public that marine debris is not only harmful to animals but also the entire food chain. With some design techniques, sunlight and shadow techniques, the techniques make it easier for people to value the environmental issues. Inspired by the incident that a whale was stranded in Dongshi Fishing Port, the whale is used as the main design topic. The base was set up there at Dongshi Fishing Port, using the organs from each part of the whale as an idea and extending different meanings.
