The Agriculture Apartment

Since ancient times, land has been inseparable from human life. Regardless of the rapid development of industry, mankind ultimately relies on nature to give food and heart to relax. In response to the advent of the information age, homes and activities are no longer restricted to specific locations. Spaces such as the living room and bedroom are reduced to a part of the public space. The living unit can build an environmentally-friendly wood structure anytime and anywhere, and integrate farming activities into the daily life of the city. Each family maintains an intimate interaction with agricultural resources. From the material, life style opens the green cycle of urban living environment.

Floating Boat

After observing the local buoyancy carrier, we designed a combined floating apartment. Use local building materials “bamboo”. Combines natural ventilation design confrontate the hot tropical areas. The main axis of design for symbiosis with hydroponic fish and vegetables solves the problem of food shortage during floods.

Between Waters

Thermae in Nature was not only the bathing place for ancient Romans, but a major public sphere for socializing. Numerous people have been inspired by others through relaxing in the public bath and frequent interaction. Various conditions of water are integrated into our imagination of different spaces, the spaces are connected by water and generate a brand-new form of atmosphere. The temperature, patter, visualization and sound of water correlate to the condition of the thoughts of people in the space. Water creates spaces, the ideas from artists as well as the space are hence borderless.

Wind Pavilion

Due to the expansion of landuse requirement, our living spaces gradually covered with high-rise buildings, however in contrast, nature environment decreased by time. High density of buildings cause air pressure which is huge and easy to be got. If we can use this power with a more efficient way, we may release the pressure and destroy to the environment. Besides, the urban square provides intelligent natural resources cycle system and combines the design of water, light, wind and temperature, allows people having a comfortable public space.

Sun Patio

The right to enjoy sunshine is a basic human right enacted by the United Nations. Since the cancellation of Street Shadow Act in 1987, the inaccessibility of light has increased the shadow area of buildings with the increase of population and the floor height, which has made the low-level residents in Hong Kong live in darkness for many years. In a such high cost land as Hong Kong, the open space and the ecological green land are compressed and reduced year by year. The narrow living space and closed visual landscape make residents lose their most basic living needs.
