席托夫 , 夏克 伊克利斯 ( Hittorff, Jacques Ignace )
( 德國 , 1792 / 巴黎 , 法國 , 1867)
生平簡介
席托夫(Hittorff)出生於德國,但是其職業生涯卻大部分在
法國度過,但卻沒有與德國失去聯繫.席托夫是獨子,其父親
為了培育他成為建築師,便將他安排至畫師Caspar Arnod-
Grein及當地的建築師Michael Leidl門下學習.在十五歲
時受雇於Franz Leister,工作的項目很明顯的不單單只有
泥水工而已還充當設計師.他曾到英國 德國及義大利旅遊,
在他建築生涯中大多接受皇室的委任設計包含極富盛名的
羅浮宮在內.
建築成就
提出希臘建築並不是單一顏色構成而是在建材表面塗滿各
式顏色.
1848年完成了Church of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul的
裝飾.
1853-1855年Eugénie女皇委任Hittorf設立Eugénie-
Napoleon學院.
1855年與Ingres一起為繆思神廟模型彩繪
1856年-1859年設計羅浮宮
1858年-1866年設計一個廣大的車站Gare du Nord.
案例介紹
Gare du Nord車站前身是比利時車站月臺是由 Rothschild集團
(Leonce Reynaud , 設計規劃 - Breville , 建構) 於1846
年建造及營運.如同車站的站名, 由Gare du Nord 車站可到比利時
,荷蘭,北西德及斯堪地那維亞半島.
但由於對逐漸增加的運輸量而言相對太小 ,尤其當維多利雅女王拜訪
時被重新安排至 Gare de l'Est車站便可看出.於是在1857年時,
當鄰近地區經現代化時, 該車站便決定新建一個三倍大的車站, 而舊
站則遷建於Lille.
新站於1861年開始建造,這個新建築團隊由德國出生的Jacques Ign
-ace Hittorff 領導.Gare du Nord 車站內部室由兩排科林新風
格鑄鐵柱在38米高度撐起72米寬的玻璃天花板, 新古典主義及十五世
紀新金屬結構都出現在Gare du Nord 車站上 ,其主要正面是新科林
新風格並裝飾有九座雕塑, 車站兩側則由側翼包覆者主結構,於地面上
則裝飾者多利斯式的柱廊, 但於1891- 1930年間陸續加裝遮陽蓬進而
降低了車站的優雅氣度.
