生平簡介

Ernst , 1886年7月27日生於德國法蘭克福 ，1970年9月11日死於德國漢堡。在一九二十年代和三十年為德國"新法蘭克福"負責城市機能主義和城鎮規劃者。早期學習是在雷蒙德的花園郊區辦公室裡，後來繼續在倫敦學習，他欽佩早期花園城市運動，和共同縱座標，此時新城市的現代主義者影響了以後他的概念。

         在1925 年他成為了城市建築師和計畫制定者，他產生了他的主要項目和許多從事一些訓練與專家的團隊一起規劃，他也指導了這個有影響城鎮計畫的雜誌 Das  neue(法蘭克福1926 – 31)。
