Vidler Anthony

安東尼.維德勒（1941- ）

維德.安東尼是著名的歷史學家、理論家及建築理論家亦是普林斯頓（Princeton）大學的建築教授。 他專攻於18、19世紀法國的建築、都市計畫及文化，且是這方面的專家和權威。

生平簡介

1941年生於英格蘭，長大後受教於劍橋大學，並在那完成建築的學位。
1965年後，他在普林斯頓大學（Princeton University）教書，直到現在教授的職位。 他亦是都市及建築研究室的研究員。

它的著作有很多，較有名的有：
The writing of the Walls：Architeceural Theory in the Late Enlightment.
Claude-Nicolas Ledoux：Architecture and Social Reform at the End of the Ancien Regime.（贏得199-91年的Alice Davis Hitchcock Book Award）。
