生平簡介
Cedric Price生於1934年，於康橋大學畢業後1957年取得倫敦建築學院文憑，之後並取得英國家建築師學會會員，1954到1955年擔任康橋大學藝術學會院院，1958到1964年擔任倫敦建築學院兼任教授，1960年成立事務所，1969年和Frank Newby等在倫敦成立Lightweight Enclosures Unit，1971年成立Polyark－Architectural Schools Network。
人們對Price最普遍的印象是他是一個極能處理彈性(flexibility)、不定性(impermanence)及新科技的焦慮型(uneasy)建築理想主義者。

建築成就
Price最顯著的設計觀念，其一是一幢建築物應該能支持加強人類的活動，他對建築看法具有極深的倫理尺度，這尺度完全取決於居住的人，他認為建築應該隨意的由其使用者建造或毀壞，不論是 社會上(socially)、心理上(psycologically)或物質上(physically)地，相對的建築物也應該解放(liberating)、加強(enhance)和支持(supportive)其使用者。Price的另一個設計觀念是他使用科技的魅力，如果談到他很難不提到他和科技的關係，他認為科技能夠暴露出傳統智的不足之處。而這些觀念也影響了日後Piano和Roger在巴黎的龐畢度中心(Pompidou
